2 days 2 late but...

hey guys......... long time no see.....

lowkey forgot about posting here, i mean i've started writing posts but i never seem to have anything interesting enough to write about so i always end up scrapping them BUT today, i had the idea of posting the origin of this blog -- even though its not so old LOL -- but it all relates to pride month! so it's the perfect opportunity!!!

okay so one wonderful morning, actually probably afternoon, i was in legal studies, surfing the web (as 2000s german textbooks say) and i found myself typing out 'josh hutcherson' into the search bar... now, for some context, josh, or rather, jhutch, has been a... an idol per se, of mine, for a few years, and one of these reasons happen to be his activism in gay rights #ally.. but not just any ally. he is THE ally of allies (pls if you know anyone who's more of an ally than jhutch, name them in the comments because i neeeeeeed to know if anyone can beat jhutch). 

just a few examples of his ally-ness:

now this may look like any old picture, but to me... to me, it represents so much more. so many memories attached to this single image; so many jokes; even a few cosplays...

this image depicts a young, blonde josh hutcherson, with his right hand upon his heart, and on that hand, the words 'LEGALIZE IT (MARRIAGE)'. the phrase, 'legalise it' may be familiar to you, in the context of legalising cannabis, but lo and behold, a '(marriage)' lies in the path ahead of it... showing the true meaning of this message to mean 'legalise marriage' or rather 'legalise gay marriage'.

the reason i started this blog wasn't this video though... going back to how i was searching up jhutch... i actually had a goal for this search; to find his #straightbutnotnarrow and #noh8campaign, and of course, i found it. clicking onto https://www.noh8campaign.com, transports you immediately back to 2010.

the website has many features, but the key component is the galleries of people supporting the noh8 campaign, ranging from celebrities to just regular citizens, including the one and only, josh hutcherson.

special mentions:

going back though, the way that the website looked so 2010, inspired me to actually start this blog---i mean i did have the idea before, but never went through with it and wasnt necessarily planning on it, but after this day, i HAD to start one. this webite is so amazing for it too, so easy to use and doesnt look too modern!

lowkey boring ahh origin story, but relates back to pride month! and i'll talk about my favourite ally any time, if i get the opportunity...
