the case of the legal studies bisexual coloured pen mixup

"a girl can leave the gay but the gay never leaves the girl"
this statement is one that resonates deeply with the situation that just occured. my friend ___ (censored for personal reasons) just expressed to me about how she suspected that i was conspiring the idea to create the bisexual flag, using the colours, as i had given out the blue pen to said friend, who is sitting on my left, and to another friend, sitting on my right, i gave a pink pen. although i understand where this conspiracy comes from, it amazes me how this realisation that i just gave out pens randomly came about when i gave another friend an orange pen, obviously breaking the pattern of the bisexual colours...

this inspired me to create the quote, shown at the start of this page... iykyk

12? 10?

juries... let's talk about them...

what are they? who are they? where are they?

i bet these are all questions you're asking... and i'm here to answer all of them.

  • they are randomly selected...
  • are there to support a judge...
  • they should have no connection or prior knowledge to case to remove bias
  • if everyone on the jury agrees to a verdict it is unaminous
  • a jury's decision HAS to be unanimous
  • they sit on the (left?) side of the court
  • every australian citizen has the potential to be on a jury although some could be disqualified or excused if:
    • they have an important event to attend, e.g.
      • school exams
      • birth of child
      • sick
    • they're aware of case/inside knowledge
    • related to people
    • cannot be under 18
    • cannot be criminals
    • cannot be associated with law/government
  • juries can be veto'd/chosen by either party for many reasons, such as people being chosen that'd be more likely to agree on one of their standpoints
    • e.g. men are more likely to excuse SA charges
  • 12? 10? -- number of jurors can vary, but around 10-12, depending on the case
  • the aim is to see concensus of the normal person/local society to have a wider society perspective on the case which can remove some bias in a sense
  • usually at criminal cases that are usually serious
  • picked from 'local area -- surrounding areas
that's all i know... for now... feel free to check this page for more legal tips lol

legalise it (internationally)

howdy y'all

cowboy eva and cowboy shreya reporting,

today we're exploring international law:

first we're going to explore how an international treaty has contributed to the provision of human rights in australia, specifically

convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination (CERD)

this treaty has contributed by providing a crucial framework for legal and policy development concerning racial equality in australia. specifically with the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (RDA), which was enacted to implement because australia has responsibility under the convention.

the UN has created many courts for international issues, but the big guns are...

okay so hey guys

#vibesarelifted

anyways we're in legal studies rn and being #studious

today we're delving into the Australian Constitution;

what is it? why do we have it? do we even need it??? why doesn't the UK have one?

a constitution is apparently "the birth certificate of the nation" --- basically just explains the government and its roles BUT doesn't mention local gov, just about the system w federal and states.

okay so basically we think that the Constitution is actually important lol idk what we were thinking -- we were going to write about how we think its useless lowkey until we remembered that people are weird and could easily turn Australia into a dictatorship even w us having a constitution rn.

ANYWAYS lets get into the depth of our music career:

last year, eva p and i were working on our first musical project ever!!! & now we finally finished this masterpiece

linger x logan paul & KSI

written by: eva pennetta and shreya bhattarai

context: this song is Jake Paul singing to Logan Paul, who ditched him to pursue money-grabs with popular celebrities, coincidentally, all of which have name's starting with 'J'. while Jake shares their initials, he doesn't have any affiliation in Logan's business success.

If we, if we could return
Don't let it mold
Don't let it decay
I'm sure it's not a dupe
But it's just like lunchables
It's tearing me apart
It's ruining every day bro
I swore, I swore I would be true
And Logan so did you
So why did you make a money grab?
Is that the way we stand?
Were you lying all the time?
Did Jimmy force you to?

But I'm in the thick of it
You know I'm in my prime for you
You got my cheese drippy for you bru
Did you have chase the clout?

Did you have to, did you have to, did you chase the clout?

Oh, I thought the world of you
I thought nothing could go wrong
But I was wrong, I was wrong
If you, if you could come back
Come back to Ohio
Things wouldn't be so confused
And I wouldn't feel so used
But you always really knew
I just love you, Big Bro
But I'm in the thick of it
You know I fought Deji for you
Am  I not a 'J' to you bru?
Did you have chase the clout?
Did you have to, did you have to, did you chase the clout?

And I'm in the thick of it
You know I'm in my prime for you
You got my  cheese drippy for you bru
Did you have chase the clout?
Did you have to, did you have to, did you chase the clout?
You know I'm in my prime for you
You got my  cheese drippy for you bru
Did you have chase the clout?
Did you have to, did you have to, did you chase the clout?

note: This song is a parody for entertainment purposes only, and is not associated with Logan Paul or The Cranberries.

us while refining the lyrics...
notes during the process:

write "am i not a J to you"

basically the context is that this is jake paul writing to logan, because logan collabed w all the "j's" but him; jimmy, JJ,

also bring up deji
